Exterior window & door replacement

New windows and doors, installed from outside.

In Florida, a new window or door has to be an approved product rated for the wind pressure at your house, and installed the way its approval says. We handle the product approvals, the permit and the installation inspection.

Occupied or vacant homes We install from the outside, so it is fine while you live in the home. Trim, drywall return and paint around a new opening are part of the job where needed; no interior remodels.

We're starting with a small number of these jobs this season, so we can get every one right.

Minimum job: $4,000.

A window that finally closes, and stays put when the wind picks up.

Older homesteaded home? The state's My Safe Florida Home program may pay part of the cost. How it works, step by step.

Before, during and after

  1. Before

A window that sticks, a slider that fights you, a draft you can feel from the couch.

  2. While we work

We pick Florida-approved products rated for the wind at your address, file the permit, and install from outside.

  3. After

Everything opens, closes and locks. The living room never turned into a work site.

Questions people ask

We live in the house. Can you still do it?

Yes. We install from the outside. If an opening needs it, we also finish the inside around the new window or door: trim, drywall return and paint. We don't do interior remodels.

Impact windows or regular?

Both can be approved for your area. Impact products can stand in for storm shutters; regular products need another way to protect the opening. We explain the options for your house.

Can you make an opening bigger?

Yes, but a bigger opening needs a new header, which is structural work and changes the permit. Same-size replacement is simpler.

What would it cost?

A rough size is enough. You'll see the same preliminary answer our project form gives.

What helps us price it

None of it is required to start. Anything you can send saves a round of questions.

  • A photo of each window or door, inside and out if you can
  • Rough sizes
  • Impact or not (or "not sure")
